The best way to learn all about shooting, post-processing images and all things to do with the photographic craft is to practice on a regular basis. And the easiest way to do that is to join a dedicated photo tour with a bunch of like minded people.
For several years I have been conducting custom-designed photo tours to a range of classic locations like Japan and Africa.
The main advantage of joining a tour like this is to learn a wide range of photographic skills in the company of other like-minded people. I try to find locations that are slightly off the beaten track, that provide good visual interest, great food and not forgetting great shopping! Hence countries like Japan, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania, Oman, Bali and Sri Lanka.
