Portrait Classes

Several times a year we hold specialist portrait, and flash portrait classes.

These are usually held through the Centre of Continuing Education (CCE). No previous experience is required to fulfill one of these classes - although owning your own DSLR or FourThirds type camera would be a huge advantage.
I also recommend using a 50mm f1.4 or 1.8 lens, or any other 'fast' glass - like the EF70-200mm f2.8 telephoto - to help create neat, out of focus background effects. Aside from your own DSLR, you'll find that a tripod is useful (but not essential).  I usually have a couple I can lend out on the day.
